" The lawyer, in his high social function, is the one that informs citizens of our states their rights and their duties. He is also an active member in the proposition of improving our community.

We, lawyers, must contribute to the model of society based on universal values of solidarity, integration and cooperation between the countries overlooking our ocean which, although of languages, religions and cultures, they have a common root and must be brought back into motor and driving force for economic development and human advancement

We know that our project is difficult, but our continuous and uninterrupted commitment has already yielded fruitful results and attracted interest and approval, even outside of our association.

The active cooperation and the spirit of friendship established between the Orders Union members are the first important result of this process that has just begun, but already in full operation.

Our association and our project are integrated in the way more natural and consistent, in the process of transformation which over the past 15 years has affected the Mediterranean basin, with the creation of a new geo-economic structure of International trade and transnational cooperation and progressive trade liberalization.

The Mediterranean space is certainly an area in which has been originated the idea of the world and the flow of relationships that organize the universe, known as a whole.

The Mediterranean, therefore, must represent a meeting point, a fundamental and inalienable crossroads for all the peoples of North and South of our sea. "
